Bernard Meier has a background as an administrator in both the public and private sectors. After a first part of his career in the field of communication, he directed the administration of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva, the Department of Internal Medicine of the University Hospitals of Geneva, the Training Centre of the same institution and was administrative director of the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
His experience has led him to take part in several large-scale institutional projects such as the work to bring the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne closer together, the reflections on the University Hospital Network of Western Switzerland project and the strategic plan of the University Hospitals of Geneva. Today, he is director of the Geneva Lung League.
Bernard Meier has also chosen to devote part of his administrative and project management skills to the cultural field (in particular music and mainly the professional integration of young musicians).
